Disclaimer / Data Protection

Although we have carefully examined the contents of external links, we do not assume any liability for them. Responsibility for the contents of linked sites lies solely with their operators.

The following data protection information explains to you which personal data we collect about you when you visit us on our website and how we use your data.

Data will only ever be collected for statistical purposes (anonymized data for server and/or website statistics). Moreover, we do not store or collect any personal data (such as names, addresses, telephone numbers or email addresses) by means of this website unless you provide such data to us (in particular by using the contact form) and other than as outlined in the explanations below. Personal data that you provided voluntarily are kept confidential by us, serve exclusively the processing of your request and are not disclosed to third parties.

We would like to point out that data transmission via the internet (for example when communicating via email) can pose security risks. It is not possible to protect data completely against access by third parties.

Cookies

We use so-called session cookies on our website in order to facilitate your use of our webpages (CMS cookies). These are small text files that are placed on your hard drive only for the duration of your visit to our website and – depending on the settings of your browser – deleted when the browser is closed.

These cookies do not retrieve any information stored on your hard drive or affect your PC or data. Cookies do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware.

Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, you can deactivate cookies being stored on your computer or set your browser to inform you when cookies are sent.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer to help analyse how the website is used.

Information that is collected includes, for example, what type of operating system and browser you are using, your IP address, the site you previously visited (referrer URL) and the date and time of your visit to our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA.

Google Analytics was extended by the code ‘gat._anonymizeIp();’ on this website to ensure anonymized collection of IP addresses. Thereby, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports about website activities, and to provide further services related to the use of the website and the internet to the website operator. Furthermore, where appropriate, Google will transfer this information to third parties if this is legally required or if third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. The IP address which is communicated by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be combined with other Google data.

You can prevent cookies being stored on your computer by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that if you do so, you might not be able to make full use of all the functions on this website. You can also prevent the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) from being collected and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The browser add-on for deactivating Google Analytics is compatible with Chrome, Internet Explorer 7 to 10, Safari, Firefox and Opera.

Alternatively, you can deactivate the use of third-party cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative's opt-out page (www.networkadvertising.org/choices/) and implementing the further information on opting out that is provided there.

Further information and the Google Privacy Policy can be found at: support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245 and www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/.

Google reCaptcha

To protect your orders placed with the aid of the online form, we use the reCAPTCHA service provided by Google Inc. (Google). The query serves to verify that the form is being completed by a human rather than being misused by an automated machine process. The query includes transmission to Google of the IP address and possibly of other data required by Google to provide the reCAPTCHA service. For this purpose, Google places a cookie on your computer for the duration of the query, your input is communicated to Google and used there. The IP address which is communicated by your browser as part of reCaptcha will not be combined with other Google data. For further information on Google’s Privacy Policy please visit: www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Social media

Our website includes links to the following social media sites: LinkedIn, Xing, Twitter and Facebook. When you visit our website, no data is transmitted to Facebook as no plug-ins of Facebook are used.

Clicking one of the links (in the form of social media icons) will, however, take you directly to the corresponding network. However, each network will collect and process data in accordance with its own usage policies, which can be reviewed on the following websites:

Please note that the data protection provisions of the services may be updated or changed on a regular basis due to additional functionalities and the like.

Following your click, we have no control over the nature and extent of the providers’ data processing operations. For your rights in this respect and the settings options to protect your privacy, please refer to the relevant data protection information (see above).

Links to other websites

In addition to that, especially the home page of our website includes links to various partners using corresponding icons. We underline expressly that after using the link, i.e. once you click the corresponding link and as a result visit the partner website, the processing of your data takes place exclusively in accordance with their data protection provisions and that we have no control whatsoever over the nature and extent of their data processing operations.

If you have any data protection concerns, please contact our operational data protection officer at datenschutz@erzlabor.com. Your concerns will be kept confidential.
